Perimeter of a Parameter was made for the annual mainstage concert of Cornell University's Department of Theatre, Film & Dance on March 9-12, 2006, and was a collaboration among Kathleya Afanador (choreography), Allen Fogelsanger (music), and Ryan Spicer (projected video graphics). But the first public performance, without the projections, was during an adjudication concert on Friday, February 16, at the New England Region American College Dance Festival at Boston University. The adjudicators called the dance cerebral and the music challenging.
